Since ever the most precious, so precous to be described as the “Champagne” or the “Rolls Royce” of the coffees. Cultivated in the Blue Mountain area – Jamaica, it is available to an extremely limited extent, following a rigorous production control which, starting from the growth of the seedlings, continues with the manual collection of only ripe berries, to reach the final processing. Cultivated at up to 1,800 meters in the districts of Portland, St. Andrew, St. Mary and St. Thomas: an area of approximately 6,000 hectares. It is not contained in normal jute bags like all the other coffees but in wooden barrels, exactly like rhum. And precisely of this liqueur we find trace in the tasting, mixed with other aromas and flavors of the tropics. Vanilla, cocoa, almond, melted butter and even a pleasant smell of tobacco are distinguished.
