Mantiqueira Azul Brazil 100% Arabica comes from the Mantiqueira de Minas region located on the Minas Gerais mountainside of the Serra da Mantiqueira in the south of Brazil.

With a tradition dating back centuries in the production of high-quality coffee, Mantiqueira de Minas is today acknowledged as one of the most awarded regions in Brazil. In 2011, it was designated as a Geographical Indication (GI), in the form of a protected geographical indication (PGI) for its tradition and worldwide reputation of producing speciality coffees with a very diversified sensory profile. The region was also awarded the prestigious "Nomination of Origin" certification in June 2020 - only the second ever received in all of Brazil.
